A comprehensive and up-to-date listing of eligible energy efficiency and renewable incentives at the state level? Yeah, us too.
The folks at the Database of State Incentives for Renewables & Efficiency, aka the seasonally appropriate DSIRE, have everything you need to maximize you clean energy projects! Established by a Department of Energy grant in 1995 at the North Carolina Solar Center, the DSIRE platform grew from a hardcopy and floppy disk to an online interactive mapping tool. DSIRE now includes both renewable and efficiency incentives as well as policy. Users can browse offerings down to the zip code level to find incentives that may make or break approval for an energy project.
One might say an ember of database interest grew into a flame of DSIRE…but they really should know better!
