  1. Wildfire Recovery and Forest Resilience Directed Grant Program

    Who:  Nonprofit Public Agency Tribal Government

    What: The primary priority of the Wildfire Recovery and Forest Resilience Directed Grant Program is the planning and implementation of forest health projects that promote wildfire recovery and forest resilience and support the goals of California’s Wildfire and Forest Resilience Action Plan and the Sierra Nevada Conservancy Watershed Improvement Program.

  2. Department of Forestry and Fire Protection- Workforce and Business Development

    Who: Business, Individual, Nonprofit, Public Agency, Tribal Government

    What: CAL FIRE's Wood Products and Bioenergy team seeks to maintain and enhance the wood products infrastructure of California to promote healthy resilient forests throughout the state by supporting a diverse set of business development and workforce development projects.

    When:  Ongoing

  3. 2021-22 Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation Program (SALC) Capacity and Project Development Grants

    Who: Nonprofit Public Agency Tribal Government

    What: The Sustainable Agricultural Lands Conservation Program supports the state’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emission goals by making strategic investments to protect agricultural lands. Capacity and Project Development grants expand organizational capacity to develop agricultural conservation acquisition projects.​

  4. Small Community Clean Water/Wastewater (SCWW) Funding

    Who: Nonprofit Public Agency Tribal Government (Applicants must serve small (less than 20,000) communities qualifying as a DAC or SDAC.)

    What: The purpose of wastewater planning funding is to provide low-interest loans, grants, and principal forgiveness to small disadvantaged communities for planning/design and construction of projects that restore and maintain water quality in the state.

    When: Ongoing

    How Much: Total estimated program funding: $110,000,000
