Who doesn’t love a sequel? In celebration of some of us being brave enough to return to the movie theatre, or those of us just really excited for Black Widow to run for free on Disney+ we gladly bring back the soundtrack* playlist!

Courtney’s Picks:
I love when a song is so well set to a scene that the two become synonymous in your mind. Can I hear the Pixies and not see the world collapsing? Can I not see Paul Walker’s CGI face when See You Again plays? Nope. Not a chance. The right song, even if it’s only a 20 second stretch takes a scene from watchable to remembered.
Where Is My Mind, Pixies (Fight Club)
In the Air Tonight, Phil Collins (Risky Business and The Hangover)
Pray for Me, The Weekend, Kendrick Lamar (Black Panther)
See You Again, Wiz Khalifa, Charlie Puth (Furious 7)
Sam’s Picks:
To me a blockbuster movie sticks with you for one reason or another, so my song selection does the same. My selections are a bit eclectic, but they all bring you back to a moment within a movie. I hope you enjoy and maybe even rewatch a few great movies.
O-O-H Child, The Five Stairsteps (Guardians of the Galaxy)
I’ve Has the Time of my Life, Bill Medley (Dirty Dancing)
Bang Bang, Will-I-Am (The Great Gatsby)
Gangstas Paradise, Coolio (Dangerous Minds)
Kelsey’s Picks:
Trying to top my choices from the previous Blockbusters playlist is no easy feat. Now, the movies associated with these choices are not necessarily favorites, but every time these songs come on, I can’t help to remember the specific scenes with the music playing (especially the first choice! How could you not die of laughter during Bridesmaids?) Enjoy!
Hold On, Wilson Phillips (Bridesmaids)
Supermassive Blackhole, Muse, (Twilight)
The Phantom of the Opera, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Gerard Butler, Emmy Rossum, and Jennifer Ellison (Phantom of the Opera)
Your Song, Ewan McGregor (Moulin Rouge)
Rochelle’s Picks:
Many of my selections come from movies that aren’t exactly box office blockbusters but they are definitely blockbusters in my home. These songs each take me back to moments of pure magic in some of my favorite movies.
