SJVCEO and SoCalREN Kick Off 2021!

The SJVCEO in partnership with SoCalREN is off to a great start in 2021! Over the last month, we have been busy working directly with public agencies and getting the data process rolling to capture more savings opportunities! Check out the exciting achievements from our partners below!

City of Hanford:
We are happy to announce that the City of Hanford is officially enrolled with SoCalREN Public Agency Programs! In the coming weeks, we will be meeting with city staff to identify needs and opportunities.

City of Woodlake:
As 2020 came to an end, we were diligently working on projects and proposals to wrap up the year- one of which is a multi-pump project for the City of Woodlake! We will be meeting with staff in coming weeks to go over a project proposal then move forward and help the city kickoff 2021 with energy savings.

City of Tulare:
Tulare’s pump project was just approved, and we hope to report back energy savings soon!

City of Visalia:
As we say, you can’t manage what you don’t measure! We are working with City of Visalia to do a data deep dive on all infrastructure. From there, we can identify saving opportunities that align with future city plans.

City of Victorville:
The City of Victorville will be looking at a list of top consuming facilities in their portfolio to identify those that they would like audits on.

City of Lindsay:
The City of Lindsay will be revisiting an audit report of their Wellness Center to see what types of projects can be completed in 2021.

We hope to report energy savings and project updates next month!

SoCalREN Program Highlight: Project Delivery Program

SoCalREN’s Project Delivery Program was established in 2013 to help public agencies achieve unprecedented levels of energy savings quicker than ever before. Agencies enrolled in SoCalREN Public Agency Programs are assigned a project manager to assist from the beginning of a project through closeout. Services include:

• Energy consumption benchmarking
• Technical support, including audit calculations, identification of pumping and wastewater measures, and more
• Analysis of financing options
• Procurement and construction support
