Home Energy Series: Session 1 - Home Evaluation: Understanding Your Home’s Energy Usage and Your Utility Bill- January 12th, 2021 (4:00 p.m-7:00 p.m.)
Where do you begin when it comes to upgrading the energy efficiency of your home? Do you know which rate plan is best for you? Learn how to decipher your energy bill so you can gather the key information to guide home-energy project decisions. This session will cover SDG&E rate plans and energy bills, which can be similarly applied to your PG&E bill to help you become the expert of your home.
Home Energy Series: Session 2: Home Systems: Understanding Your Home’s Building Enclosure and its Major Systems- January 19th, 2021 (4:00 p.m-7:00 p.m.)
This course will help you understand what upgrades make the biggest difference, and how to prioritize them when making investments in your home. We’ll discuss when you should add insulation or upgrade windows and heating and cooling systems, lighting, ventilation, roofing and other key energy systems for improved home comfort.
Home Energy Series: Session 3: Home Energy: Creating Your Whole Home- Based Solar Strategy- January 26th, 2021 (4:00 p.m-7:00 p.m.)
Knowledge is power when determining the correct size of solar energy systems, if you need batteries, planning for an electric vehicle and which contractor to trust. Learn how to identify accurate savings estimating and if the designed system is what you really need. After this session, you’ll have an actionable strategy and major advantage, when you choose to go solar.
